YUP A great illustration, as you've stated it. -- Part of the body of evidence against the board's gross misrepresentations. They were trying to get away with the idea that bulkhead restorations would regularly require the trouble of recurring referendum voting. TOTALLY WRONG, for yours and for other reasons. Thanks for again pointing out that issue, that flaw in the board's public pronouncements. Tom |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: When Perrone said it several months ago at a board meeting I said he was either misinformed or duplicitous. As time went on, it became clear that he knew exactly what he was doing. Now we are faced with the fact that the entire board went along with this deliberate misstatement. Even the less gifted among them should have been able to grasp this basic fact; over 75% of the OPA bulkheads are privately owned; the owners are assessed an amount above the normal association fee to maintain the bulkheads; therefore the entire association cannot weigh in on how the money held in trust by OPA is spent to maintain the bulkheads. Shameful. |
