For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Male and female stock analyst hired out of MBA school at age 24, both paid $60,000. Female leaves for 3 years to raise a child and now wishes to return to her previous stock analyst job. At this point the male is earning $70,000 with 3 more years of experience. The company is going to hire her back at something less than $70,000. More like the wage being paid to younger analysts with only 1 year of experience. |
