Maybe just laugh about it.  And say they have freedom of speech, even if their assertions and conclusions are far fetched and weird.   As their remoteness & distances get further from rationality, their credibility will continue to decline.

A recent survey shows that 80% of Americans believe in freedom of speech, even when its content is wrong or inaccurate.  And Americans don't want govt deciding what's inaccurate.
