Jack  Very true  and yet the "WOKE" activists won't admit all the progress.  Even Bill Maher is critical of them for that problem.

Maher explained “progressophobia” describes a brain disorder that strikes liberals and makes them incapable of recognizing progress.  Maher mentions a bunch of examples of progress: 

• < overcoming gay marriage restrictions of states, 
• < acceptance of gay festivals and parades 
• < legalized medicinal marijuana, even some states for recreational, 
• <  abandoning interracial marriage restrictions. 

And lets not ignore the Civil Rights acts as early as 1866, & notable new legislation in 1964, 1968 and 1991    Nor the numerous times that the voting rights acts were enacted, changed, amended & improved.  Recall the fair housing acts, many times changed, amended & improved.  Witness the numbers of minorities elected and serving in congress.  Recall the massive numbers of court cases giving relief from civil rights and fair housing violations & abuses.

When Bill Maher jumps on the idea, criticizing his beloved Dems, pointing out this flaw, it must really be getting serious.  

And Jack, I know you're already on board, objecting to that "WOKENESS".
