Recall that the full timeframe of my comment, was referring to progress "compared to 50 or 60 years ago."    I'd challenge anyone -- that its false to assert that modern access by minorities to medical services haven't improved from those of 50 or 60 years ago.  And Medicaid is indeed a significant step in that path.   As well as other positive developments.

Of course, even the medical science has advanced.  Look how far advanced antibiotics have leaped forward, beyond basic penicillin of the 1950's.  And eventually becoming low cost examples, easily affordable by the poor of all races.

YES  There's undoubtedly plenty of medical gaps -- as you've outlined.  Details likely from you working in that field(?) 

But even Bill Maher has challenged Dems to back away from asserting things are worse than ever, but to recognize various forms of improvements.  See earlier messages I posted to other folks. 

Another one of the big objections is the amount of pushing these ideas onto the public.  School boards pushing, despite huge objections by citizens.  And state legislatures pushing back against Critical Race Theory, a branch of WOKE.  Can't seem to recall how the WOKE got into the schools, without preliminary airing of the issues.  But now its meeting extreme resistance, trying to have it restricted or removed.  

Did you read the brief descriptions of those books which Joe quoted??  About a half dozen.

Some pretty off the wall stuff there.  I'm glad that my late wife Betty has been spared from reading those reviews.  Call our family traditionalists, but that kind of foul, sordid stuff is out of bounds.  And I've been happy to see stats posted here indicating only about 5% or lower percentages of people are involved in such tawdry practices.   Good to know that 95% are straight.  

 It's a free country so its the deviant's own business.  And the many folks here who read about the issue are also free to speak out, pro and con.   I understand why some of the initial messages here said put this  WOKE stuff in the toilet.
