You can’t change history, just because you do not like it or agree with it. Black slaves were brought to this country and sold in1619. You can‘t change that. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Glenn One of the 1776 groups is sponsored by the Bob Woodson foundation, a group called "1776 Unites" Some of their efforts include a "library" or reading list. Click Here You can scroll thru there, and see summaries of some of those recommended books. Here's a summary from the book titled: Red, White, and Black: Rescuing American History from Revisionists and Race Hustlers A quote: "In the rush to redefine the place of black Americans in contemporary society, many radical activists and academics have mounted a campaign to destroy traditional American history and replace it with a politicized version that few would recognize. . . . . " Also the "1776 Unites" group has produced a curriculum based around patriotism, instead of the anti-patriotism and divisiveness contained in the 1619 project of the Dems. Report titled: Black Leaders Launch ‘1776 Unites’ High School Curriculum as ‘Inspirational Alternative’ to NYT’s 1619 Project Click Here Although this 1776 Unites group is primarily focusing as a counterbalance the 1619 project's negativity, these same affirmative, constructive thoughts and ideas seem a good balance against other negative movements like Anitfa, BLM, and similar groups. 1776 Unites is a privately sponsored group, separate from the 1776 Commission established by Trump. Although disbanded by Biden, that commission has been continuing, outside of govt. And here's a 5 min. video summarizing the "1776 Unites" activities of 2020, as led by Bob Woodson. But seems the media have mostly ignored the content of these 1776 affirmative efforts. Selective reporting. Enjoy the video. Tom |
