I'll have to re-watch the video. I heard a request for a discussion, but I did not hear a reason for the rejection. Then I heard someone say "no discussion" and then silence.
There was indeed a request for discussion. One was not required. However, upon the request (made by Doug Parks, I believe), only Frank Day offered his reason for voting NO. Frankly, I do not believe board members should be publicly discussing their personal negative views about association members seeking committee appointments. Lakernick should have been appointed. He was not. |
