As a retired HR Manager, I am appalled by some of the behaviors involving board members. It is imperative that our HOA has a Code of Conduct/Ethics that board members must follows.
Was tried over 10 years ago and again about three years ago. Total waste of time and caused more problems than it solved. What specific board member actions appall you from an HR standpoint. Keep in mind the Board of Directors has but one employee -- the General Manager. There are industry standard that outline what HOA boards can and can not do. Why? To prevent lawsuit. How about a link to these industry standards? |
