I'd observe there was unanimous support on the issue of getting three new police cars
You need to attend more meetings. On such spending issues across the entire OPA operation, nearly every such vote has been unanimous for years. The political disputes among board members have had little to do with OPA operation and very much to do with personal board member feuds over political issues that have little, if any, impact on the day to day life of association members. The attempt to remove Trendic from the board; firing Nate Douty; the Colby Phillips accusations; the Farr candidacy; refusing Lakernick a committee appointment; refusing Trednic’s spending petition; Janasek's interaction with the GM and board members; etc. These kind of issues dominated the news. From an operational standpoint, the last two years are arguably the most successful in OPA history - a credit to both the board and the GM. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Very interesting insights. Thanks for that reporting. Although that analysis seems to identify alignments into two factions, I'd observe there was unanimous support on the issue of getting three new police cars. |
