Well that’s a problem. They should be asking for proof of membership to give the resident rate. But maybe that’s a discussion for a different thread. As I see it, this decision was made based on the current situation. It’s not a perfect solution, but it is one that has the highest likelihood of maintaining order, allowing association members to attend their HOA meeting and provide a higher level of security. It may not be the choice you would’ve made but I believe this is a necessary decision in light of the current environment. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: That is NOT true. Even those renting can get the resident rate...they just give the address they live at. No front desk employee asks for a membership card to get the resident rate. |
