Correct. It is my understanding that the yellow property owner card would not be valid for tomorrow’s meeting. That is why I found it a little comical that what they are requiring instead is the photo ID card which was issued to our whole family when we joined the pool years ago. If my two teenagers are now being considered property owners, then they are going to have to start pulling a little more weight around here.

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Amenity memberships are for ”Members and Residents.” In other words association members (owners) and those who rent and reside here have the same rates. Rights to attend board meetings, vote in elections, etc. ate limited to owners, not residents who rent. The newer plastic cards with an image do not indicate if the person is an owner. I also have a yellow card that states “OPA PROPERTY OWNER.” If that yellow card is not also acceptable, the board is making a mistake. In that regard, I agree with Amy. |
