| I am referring to the millions spent as part of the budget. You can make a profit doing most things when someone else is footing the money for the actual costs. The clubhouse rebuilding, the new golf carts, the new cart barn, the new bulkheads, and many more expenses that are put into the budget. I would love if the actual costs to run the golf course amenities were told straight up. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: We pay millions of dollars every year so the golf course can have whatever it wants. The above is a 100% incorrect statement. You should look at the audited financial statements available on the OPA website. The audited financial report for last year shows golf made an operational PROFIT of $289,000. If you want any credibility, at least be somewhat factual. As for the skateboard park, it would not exist but for the efforts of one Barbara Kissell, and you may not even know who she is. |
