Matt Ortt directly involved in the accident? No,and I don't think it's ever been said that he was. What decided it for me was seeing Matt,Ralph,Ralph's nephew and many others taunting and outright laughing at Gavin's family and friends (young teenagers) as they protested on the Boardwalk, bringing them to tears. While I think it's wonderful that the YC helped keep dues down and a is great place to hang out for some,I could not possibly support someone with that complete lack of morals or character. But don't take my word for it,look at the 18k plus seeking justice for Gavin. NONE of these things would have happened if the right thing was done that night or the days after. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Robert ~ Matt Ortt did NOTHING wrong. He wasn't involved in the Knupp accident; however there are people in our OP community that are attaching him to the accident due to his business relationship with Ralph DeAngelis which had ended several weeks ago. It also amazes me that former board members who supported Matt Ortt Company and our F&B venues are now against the Matt Ortt Company. As you pointed out, the Matt Ortt Company has greatly improved our F&B at the Yacht Club, Clubhouse Grille and the Beach Club and the number reflect it. Thanks Rick |
