| Committee with an agenda? This community deals with agendas all the time, BOD!!! I see it as good people doing good things, or at least trying to do the right thing. The problem is that’s not how we play around here, it’s the old BOYS club around here and don’t get in the way. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: It is a Board of Directors Advisory Committee, not an advisory committee to Public Works, the General Manager, or any other entity or individual. Their point of contact with the board they are appointed to advise is board liaison Jeff Heavner. Any committee also has every opportunity to request to make a presentation to the board during a board meeting, as often happened in the past. Not so recently. As I am sure you are aware, after the last culling of the geese, a group of folks upset about the event decided the best way to stop it was to basically take over the environmental committee. They were successful in that task and so we now have a committee with an "agenda" based upon what they want and not necessarily what is best for the property owners. |
