What is ‘ a Board’? Only those members who get approval for their ideas? Or is it the entire 7 members whichever way the vote sways?
I don't quite understand what you are getting at. The board is a group of seven individuals elected by the association members. The board acts as an entity with the entity making decisions based on a majority vote or a super majority in a few cases. How each board member votes is immaterial. Only the combined vote of the entity matters. No. this plaque does not represent the people of the different boards who passed this which goes back to my original opening- what is ‘A Board’ made up of?And do we not pick who did what now on plaques and recognition.? Again, sorry if I do not understand your comment. Different boards did not pass motions to build a new clubhouse. The motion to build the clubhouse was passed by ONE board and I provided all the info about that board. What else do you want? |

And who was the decision maker on these names?And who approved the final names? Seems to me some very important board members were left out (perhaps one on purpose?). No. this plaque does not represent the people of the different boards who passed this which goes back to my original opening- what is ‘A Board’ made up of?And do we not pick who did what now on plaques and recognition.? Joe- I do like to know how one has voted, but they are a ‘body’ after all! |
