![]() ![]() ![]() Section 5: OPA Board Subject: What Was Parks Thinking? Msg# 1212526

One may infer that Doug Parks may still be taking advantage of the compromise he voted for and perhaps this is the reason for his comment? Since he is on the Budget committee, should that also be a conflict of interest? I agree with earlier comments about him recusing himself from the review. At least it may show other potential interested parties the board is open minded.
Just a thought on the budget discussion, the current economy has to be taken into consideration. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Thank you. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I am very glad that is not the current case, but yeah surely need to note for future reference re: voting, who would think such a thing is okay. No problem. Who would think such a thing is ok? As I wrote: Daly told OceanPinesForum.com that those in favor of the Daly proposed "compromise" were Frank Daly, Camilla Rogers, Tom Janasek, Doug Parks, and Steve Tuttle. Those opposing were Colette Horn and Larry Perrone. |
