Perhaps. Our only chance is the new administration in Washington DC, putting down their foot.
Yes And there are several reports where Trump has been critical of the Offshore Wind Projects. Here's an excerpt quoting Robert Bryce, who was the acoustics expert appearing at the Jan 2024 meeting at the OC Convention Center, hosted by our Congressman Andy Harris. This report dated 10/30/2024 illustrates how citizens in other areas have a history of successfully raising objections. "Energy expert and journalist Robert Bryce notes that farming families, small rural communities and Native American Tribes have rejected or restricted 35 wind and 58 solar projects this year, through September. Since 2015, these “little guys” have stymied a whopping 735 “renewable energy” projects across the USA." Click Here This shows that some communities have successfully stymied a lot of projects, in recent years. Yet the Biden administration and the Md Governor Moore have been pushing the OC offshore project and ignoring objections. BUT the leadership changes in Washington won't begin until late January. THUS I'd agree with your message highlighted above. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Ken: Perhaps. Our only chance is the new administration in Washington DC, putting down their foot. I am still hopeful this boondoggle will be shut down. Marty |
