I am confused. Why wouldn’t the shipping company whose ship hit the bridge be 100% liable for replacement? What about insurance?
Beats me. The money, $1.7 billion shouldn’t be paid by Maryland tax payers. Being paid by all taxpayers in the United States. My guess is the Fed will rebuild and then any inssurance or other funds recovered will go to the Fed. |
