The Yacht club was budgeted to make $160,000 this year but they are now forecasted to lose $17,000. So, the YC is performing below budget by $177,000. This is all before depreciation expense. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: The GM's initial proposed budget for fiscal year 2025-2026 is now on the OPA website. The first item of interest to association members is the likely the proposed assessment. GM John Viola proposes an assessment of $875, up $25 from the current assessment of $850. The $25 increase is due 'primarily to increased costs associated with building a new Southside fire station, and other increased costs related to safety issues in the community, including increased costs for police protection and fire department equipment.
