Why all the secrecy, Joe?
They're picking a caterer not building a nuclear bomb. I'll give Stauss credit for doing what a reporter is supposed to do. He's ignoring the gag rule. Good for him. BTW doesn't it seem odd there were so few bidders? It's almost like no one wants to do business w OPA. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I love this place. Last month Tom Stauss wrote in the Progress that Sodel would be the new Food & Beverage contractor. This was according to "someone who knew someone" at a closed board meeting. So, here we are a month or so later and today's Progress has Stauss saying informed sources say all three bidders are in the running to get the contract. That is known as "covering all the bases." We should know later today whom the board selects. |
