Took me about 18 months to double the size of the OP plant so, yes, it's a good question but then, I inherited the plans which were already drawn. Just not paid for. Money, Money, Money...???
The issue is not Ocean Pines, and Glen Riddle is not enlarging its plant. Glen Riddle, due to improper work/repairs by Worcester County Public Works some years ago, is simply trying to make the existing system operate at capacity. Their problems started three or Four years ago, and it looks like it will be two or three years before the plant is again fully operational. Money? No shortage of money and another $3.6 million provided by the county for additional work on Glen Riddle. The time this is taking is totally inexplicable. |
