If the meetings could be held remotely for even a part of the year, I'd volunteer. And I'm critically aware of "Beware of what you wish for" and "Never Volunteer!!"

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Who appoints that committee that has been meeting to protect OP interests? The Worcester County Commissioners. The committee was established back around 2002 when the County took ownership of the plant from the then county Water and Sewer "Commission" headed by Colonel Connell. I was among the very first members appointed by then commissioner president Sonny Bloxom at public hearing held at Showell Elementary. I gave up the position that same night so that local builders could have a representative. |
