Whoever is negotiating for OP should be on their guard.
Negotiating for OPA? No one! I have suggested a number of times to certain board members that OPA needs to become involved, and repeatedly ignored. I believe OPA rate payers paid way too much for the water connection under the creek to Riddle Farms a number of years ago. The board then did not even look into the issue. In fact, OPA should have paid nothing. That very expensive line provides no real benefit to OPA. There is a committee appointed to look out for OPA interests. It is worthless. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Let me take a shot at this. "any risk of OPA getting sucked into the problem?" As the article mentions the fact that the continuing losses in Glen Riddle cause a large payment to OP for the treatment, I think we are always at risk of being squeezed. Whoever is negotiating for OP should be on their guard. |
