Joe,
I will miss Jim as well. I was on the Bylaws Committee before joining the Board. I believe no one had a better knowledge and the history of our governing documents than Jim. With a very soft touch, he was able to guide a talkative bunch through our monthly meetings and with everyone working from home during the pandemic, he got us through several marathon sessions (some lasting over 5 hours). He was always pleasant, easy to work with and available to talk to and provide insight. He was one of my "go-to" contacts when I needed counsel. Just a great guy and very decent person. For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: With much sadness, i must report my good friend Jim Trummel passed away at 9 am this morning. He was at home with his wife Lou Ann. Jim devoted many hours over many years to the OPA Bylaws & Resolutions Committee. I will miss him. |
