To think that any of these Survey Monkey surveys are an accurate representation of the opinions of 8,500 or so association members is ridiculous.
However, if history is any indicator, the board is likely to take this latest survey as gospel. A better board option would be to eliminate the Strategic Planning Committee. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: (March 11, 2025) The Ocean Pines Strategic Planning Committee will present the results of a recent homeowner survey during the next regular OPA Board meeting, scheduled for 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 29, in the Clubhouse Meeting Room at 100 Clubhouse Drive. The survey, which was conducted over several months, received 1,003 total responses from people in the community. Committee members will discuss key findings, including homeowner priorities and how the Ocean Pines Association is addressing top community concerns. Survey results will be made available on the Ocean Pines Association website, oceanpines.org, following the presentation. |
