For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: OPA has removed the old wood announcement signs placed in numerous locations along Ocean Parkway. Each of those signs had an electric supply. That electric supply is now "boxed-off" and a small evergreen planted nearby. The interesting aspect of this is that, more or less, no one seems to have noticed or mentioned the sign removals. This illustrates clearly that OPA will waste over $200,000 installing perhaps five electronic signs. The electronic signs, an expense demanded by the Communications Committee, are impossible to comprehend fully when traveling at 35 mph. |
