........stole ESBIA letterhead..... Nobody but you used the word "stole." I knew you would try your best to twist the conversation so I specifically made note that this was an Example. My example was just that, an example. If I called someone to take a letterhead, like take it out of a drawer, type the letter, sign the letter and mail the letter, what would you call that action? That's it. Nothing else. What would you call the example I gave? It was neither stated nor implied that anyone "stole" letterhead from anybody. The link I included in the prior message tells, in your own words, why the letter was sent. You continue to unnecessarily defend someone, for whatever reasons one can only speculate. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Rick, you never specifically said Steen stole ESBIA letterhead and forged the president's signature. However, you did clearly insinuate that Steen or some as yet unknown person did eaxactly that. You wrote: Example - What would you call someone who would take letterhead stationary from the Ocean Pines Area Chamber of Commerce, compose a fictitious letter in support of the OP community center, sign someone else's name and then mail that letter to the local papers for publication? The above is not in any way reflective of what transpired with the letter; it is pure innuendo. Given the players involved it is clearly innuendo aimed at Steen. The last sentence clearly points the innuendo at Steen since he sent the letter in question to the media after receiving it from ESBIA. In the context of the thread and the issue, the comment quoted above lacks intellectual honesty, and the response to criticism of this intellectual dishonesty leads only to more. You never admit to suggesting anything, but the innuendo is powerful -- and you are too smart to not know exacly what you are doing in regards to innuendo. |
