It is good that someone, Joe Renolds in this case, present the details of the Ocean Pines finances and operations to the entire community, not just a selected few. If some members/employees of the association are embarrassed by the financial facts and operational procedures of Ocean Pines, then perhaps, it is time for them to move on. I do not feel that stating the facts as they are to be a negative view of our community. It is only an honest view of what the situation is with suggestions of what can be done to improve it. This is a great community and a great place to live, it should not be guided in any area by small interest groups, but by all association members. We, as a community, must however, move ahead with change and ideas for a new way of doing things and also make sure we are financialy responsible. The best way to do this, in my opinion, is to bring in new and young people to give us new vigor and new ideas. |
