The OPA Board of Directors discussion of the agenda for the Town Meeting to be held on December 1, 2004 at the Yacht Club -- 7 PM. The primary issue debated was whether or not the public could comment on issues other than the primary topic of the meeting which is the Comprehensive Plan, including building a new community hall and other infrastructure additions.
President Dan Stachurski, true to his idea of total community involvement and the nature of Town Meetings, wanted any topic to be open for public comment. Unfortunately the board did not vote in his favor on this issue.
