Dan Stachurski motion at 3/15/2006 OPA Board meeting to proceed with Community Center design drawings and solicitation of construction bids is passed on a 6-1 vote. Janet Kelley was the only director voting against the motion. Kelley's objection was based on her feeling the board is spending $100,000 for design costs of a building that OPA's construction manager has already said would be $2 million over the referendum-approved budget. The actual vote at the end of board discussion is missing from the video due to technical problems.
