Description: Norman Katz Holly Court, Ocean Pines A native New Yorker and graduate of the Academy of Aeronautics, Norm Katz worked in the aircraft industry and sales management positions with Westinghouse, Lever Brothers and Borg-Warner. Norm then went into business for himself, owning a successful printing company in New Jersey for 10 years. Ever active in community affairs, he served on boards of his local Homeowners and Condominium Associations and attends virtually all OPA Board meetings. He has served for three years on OPA’s Budget & Finance Committee, where he has been an outspoken advocate for fiscal restraint and budget integrity. Swimming Club member and active in the Anglers Club, the Metropolitan Club, Ocean Pines Bowling, and Temple Bat Yam, Norm has served as an AARP volunteer tax counselor since moving to the Pines in 1998. Norm, 68 years young, and his wife of 46 years, Lucille who’s even younger and retired from a career in the long-term care industry, have two sons and five grandchildren. Technician, entrepreneur, community leader, and dedicated family man, Norm Katz is committed to strengthening our amenities, holding assessments at current levels, improving property-owner input into our budget, and controlling the rapid rise in OPAs spending.
