Bull! It was voted down because it cost more than the membership was willing to pay. Nothing more, nothing less. It is always good to know that we have someone on the Board that has all the answers. I look forward to your resolving the YC, pool and golf problems. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Jack: Why do I feel like this is a waste of my time? "The first referendum for a CC passed" Wrong! The first and second failed and by a lot. The third promised a $6 million dollar center for less than $4 million and was FREE because the BOD promised to sell $50,000 lots for $150,000. "was voted down simply as a rebuff to the then Board of Directors who had handled the CC issue so poorly" Bull! It was voted down because it cost more than the membership was willing to pay.
