why are we wasting good OPA money on such an undertaking? Priorities. Rather than address or deal with quality of life issues such as rundown or trashy properties which also directly impact property values, OPA would prefer to attack property owners who take an interest in, and put money into, their residences. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Most of us know nothing of the real facts to this case, but perhaps someone from OPA needs to step in and right what appears to be an apparent wrong. Rick, I am wondering why...if this porch looks attractive, is not grossly in violation of OPA rules, and meets the county code...why are we wasting good OPA money on such an undertaking? In view of our present financial situation and the number of trashy propertiesthat still exist...this seems ludicrous to me. Nancy |
