For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: It would be interesting to see a poll on what would be an acceptable loss. It might be tricky to word such a poll so as to get a decent answer. On the other hand, it might be a waste of time. I would guess that most folks would draw the line at about $200,000. The golf course expenses would be the most likely to get thumbs down. The losses at the YC may have acceptance as I would think more OP'ers use it than play golf in OP. I can no longer play golf but I understand the enjoyment, friendly chatter and communicating with nature.  |
