I don't understand how a committee formed for that purpose could be held responsible for the losses. Easy. Association members really don't keep themselves informed. Nothing new, and something all of us are guilty of to one degree or another. And I'll admit I'm not 100% up to speed on all these committees. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: With regard to Mr. Gomsak's presence on the Food and Beverage Committee, frankly no it doesn't. I realize Mr. Gomsak was never in a Yacht Club management position and therefore, not directly responsible for the losses. Are you, perhaps, confusing the Clubs Committee, which is responsible for promoting the Clubs in OP, and the Food and Beverage Committee, which was formed to look into the losses of the YC, etc? I don't understand how a committee formed for that purpose could be held responsible for the losses. Gail |
