Had you sat in on the B&F Committee meetings where the bulkhead was discussed you would have heard the detailed analysis of why they thought it was necessary and how they arrived at the number. As I said, I was not 100% convinced, and made public comments to that effect at the meeting, but the notion for the increase was not just something pulled out of thin air. No other association member was present to make public comments one way or the other, and I don't recall any substantial public comments at the time the board voted on same as a part of the budget. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: I opposed the increase but understand the thinking of those who supported it. I have no problem with an increase if it can be shown that an increase is necessary and how the B&F Committee arrived at their recommended figure. |
