For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Regarding a written agreement on the encroachment, what sort of agreement? I wouldn't expect much if anything regarding this agreement. This is from the most recent Oct. 3rd edition of the Shore Progress. A site survey by consulting engineer Steve Soule earlier this year revealed some encroachments on the OPA’s property by Seacrets, including a wall that separates the parking area from the portion of the site that contains tidal wetlands. The OPA board apparently is not intending to make an issue of the encroachments. “I’m not sure it passes a ‘so what’ test. Leighton has been an excellent tenant over the years, and we enjoy good relations with him. We want that to continue,” Olson said several months ago. |
