Are you simply guessing with the above comment? I don't believe it is correct.
I don't simply guess about anything pertaining to the law. I read Lien and Foreclosure Rules sometime ago and I'll see if I can locate the information and get it to you. I believe after a Homestead Exemption, if the primary residence state has one, and that varies from state to state, a lien may be placed on any other property (primary residences) after any mortgages and in order of receipt by the Courts of liens or judgments by a creditor. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: but presumably if our member's property in Ocean Pines is their vacation home or "second property", we may be able to attach a lien to the member's primary residence and issue foreclosure proceedings on the personal abode. Are you simply guessing with the above comment? I don't believe it is correct. |
