The appeal was not a Gomsak decision. It was a board decison, supported by our CPA firm and our attorney in Baltimore. The lead attorney was a firm in Baltimore. I think Gomsak recommended consultation with Price Waterhouse Cooper, a firm he retired from in 1999, as they are specialists in tax law. It sounds like you are insinuating Gomsak did something unethical or worse. | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Ted: "Given a reading of the original ruling this is not necessarily a surprise" "not necessarily a surprise"! For the sake of the argument I will agree. That said, why would our Treasurer, who claims to be an experienced tax accountant, support the appeal as well as recommend that our Association spend additional assessment dollars hiring his old firm to consult with our tax attorney?
