The very plain fact is that OPA cannot operate any business amenity at even close to break even without outside customers. The only exceptions would be where we have a more or less monopoly like boat slips or beach parking.

Taking your logic to a logical conclusion, we would shut down virtually all business amenities.

The question is, do association emmbers desire the current amenities to the extent that outside users are not frowned on as a means of keeping them open. My guess is a majority of association emmbers want the keep the business amenities even it that means letting non-members pay to use them.
