 I would expect our Board and GM to promote passage of the referendum.  But am also concerned with the overkill.  Between the multiple meeting with refreshments, the tours, the letters, the newspaper advertisements, and the referendum itself I believe tens of thousands was spent.  On top of that an attempt was made to intimidate the local papers so they would only print positive comments. (happily, some were more courageous then others)

But lets see now!  $10,000 plus divided by 8448 members =$1.18 

Wow, only $1.18 per member.  That's cheap so I guess it must be OK.
