Not to beat the dead horse, but your words above more or less indicate to a reader that there was a vote of some kind. There was no vote as far as I know. I do not even know if a majority of the board approved the charges for Moore's investigation. Keep in mind only three board members had their name attached to a charge, the fourth was the GM. I have also heard at least one of the board members originally named as making a charge is now saying no charge was made. I think those involved are now scrambling for ways to extricate themselves from this nonsense. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: From your post... With the knowledge and approval of Tom Terry and some board members, OPA attorney Joe Moore is conducting an investigation of Clarke. The investigation was not authorized by a formal board vote. ============== I didn't say there was a vote. I said the guy's being investigated by an attorney and I wanted to know if the damn investigation was lawful. I also intimated that I was concerned that the entire association would be liable if the investigation went off the tracks, as it were. Apparently, it hasn't dawned on some association members that this thing can grow legs; that a few amateur politicians are unable to think things through. There's an exposure issue if this thing is not stopped, now. If you or Marty think I'm an alarmist, I'll stipulate and drop the matter. I'm pushing on a string, anyway. |
