Hi Bob: The Board alone can't vote off an elected Board member; only an affirmative vote of the entire membership at a meeting called for that purpose can. Your governing documents tell you how this is done. Don't bother recording anything. MHA
If the above is a response from the State of Maryland, I suspect it is incorrect. Whoever responded to you has apparently not read the OPA by-laws approved by the membership. I'd love think your contact was correct, but I'm extremely doubtful Do you even know if your contact is an attorney? |
