| What I'm saying Joe is that since the Pines came into being 45 years ago a LOT of money has been paid for water and sewer lines, maybe as much as nine figures which, one would think has paid for the lines several times over. I think our water and sewer charges are high especially for part timers | ||||||

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Using 6000 homes paying for water at $150.00 per quarter I THINK the basic charge is the same whether or not a lot has a home. It is the basic charge for availability. $3,600,000.00 a year That minimum charge is for water and sewage. From county web site: "Domestic minimum water and sewer $133.00" Seems like you, and others, are making a judgement without having ever seen the budget for the Ocean Pines Service Area or realizing the charge is not just for water. |
