My first response to you was only to suggest that I was in total agreement with your analogy ......

My other response with respect to "dark humor" meant only that, to me, it is quite humorous when people in positions of control [as in our BOD and our self-serving congress ] continue to make decisions about situations that greatly affect their constituencies when they seem to have little or no intellectual grasp of the topics on which they pass judgment or vote is a sad thing.  Those decisions affect us adversely all the time.  So that is indeed "Dark.

I certainly am not talking about all of the boards over the years, only those who seem to have had a penchant for finding the wrong side of most issues.  Usually because of an incomplete understanding of the issues I guess.  Over the course of decades, they have costed us tens of millions of dollars.

I wasn't attempting to demean you in any way.  I'm sorry if I offended you.
