I suppose you can say we can have a referendum on any issue and vote on it. The golf course has been so mismanaged that the current responses seem to me to be over reaction. Or maybe with the unreasonable losses maybe a referendum is the only solution. It seems to me the situation has been so mismanaged that the only solutions seem derived from panic or hysteria.
If you say the situation is unacceptable, I agree. I would like to think there are better less sever solutions. Maybe its too late. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Cope is a hysterical response to a long standing problem. Did you even read the COPE position paper. I don't think it is hysterical to ask the board to seek a net/net/net lease arrangement, but then ask association members via referendum if they wish the area to become open space. Since when is it hysterical to ask association members to vote on an issue? |
