For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Perhaps the OPA BOD has experienced this same thing in the past. I am not aware of any such issue taken to court by OPA. Guess that's why we have attorneys to look into these issues for us. What does that mean? Are you suggesting Ed should have hired an attorney before calling the county? The county issue is not over yet. As for your apparent effort to compare OPA enforcement with county enforcement, they are two completely different legal avenues. Any advice from OPA's attorney as to what OPA can or can't do is of no particular import regarding what the county can or cannot do. In 25 years here in OPA-land I have never heard the Board or the board's attorney discuss what the county may or may not do with regard to any potential DR issue. The veiled gloating is rather transparent. One can clearly visualize the smile of delight upon reading the report of the inspector's initial response. |
