I called and was told it was their house and they could do what they want.
If you called CPI I would be surprised they gave such a response. Obviously no homeowner in OP can "do what they want." You should make a formal complaint to CPI and list the specific items you think are in violation of the DRs. You might also ask CPI to send an inspector to your home so you can show him the issues and discuss whether or not there is a violation. If all else fails, take photos of what you believe are violations and bring to an OPA board meeting. |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: This is not a vehicle complaint but the rented house next door to me is a mess. I called and was told it was their house and they could do what they want. First, they dug up part of the stone driveway in front and put in a veggie garden. It looks neat now but I know at the end of the season all of the dead plants and veggies will lay there and not been cleaned up. There are seven bikes laying (and I mean thrown) in front of the house, where there is a fenced yard where they can be kept. There are Eagle flags (last I counted six) hanging there since October. Some are hanging off. The leaves are not cleaned up. They did clean up debris that was piled three feet high when I called but not the leaves. Last October they cleaned the roof off (first time in three years) and all of the leaves from that are laying in a pile, which now has weeds growing out of the pile. Is there anything that can be done to have them or the owner clean up the property? Calling did not help. Thank you for any suggestions. |
