Roland:
I do not believe that any board majority should be meeting in private. It is actually not legal under the law and is also unethical. Marty |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: It is deplorable to me that the new power of four has resolved into seemly the wishes of one, or in this case two. Nothing infuriated me more when I ran for the board than Mr. Thompson making proposals that required action the same day because he was afraid they would be shot down if the board of directors took time to reason them out. Now I have to ask myself why can't Dave, Marty, Jack, and Pat have a meeting of the minds. It's such a simple thing to talk to each other before the meetings to discuss issues and come to a resolve. If the excuse is they don't have the time, it is not exceptable. They should never have ran for the board to begin with, if this is the case. As a member of the community how am I or anyone suppose to vote when we can"t asses which way the board is taking the community? It was my hope that the board would hold the reins on expenditures, not increase assessments with a proven reserve of four million! So much for the hopes of a man who just wanted a better community without a dictatorship. I hope that the right questions are asked about community aspirations during the next candidates forum!!!!
