Joe the YC was supposed to receive River Rock and that looks different than the stone in the photo. (posted earlier)
We can only wish that the "flat style" stone had been the alternative chosen, assuming that the "rounded style" of river rock was nixed by the county. Still its unclear what happened for the YC, and this new building re-opens the issue, IMO. Instead we've gotten the GM's choice of concrete blocks, and he seems to have hidden, obviscated, covered up, buried, deceived, fabricated excuses, etc-- your choice of how to describe what the GM did. And there's the lingering suspicion that the GM may have been motivated to save money , as cost estimates were likely rising. A doubly foolish choice it seems, if that was part of his purpose I'd surmise its a safe bet that local folks would prefer that flat stone, by a large majority, over concrete block Tom |

For reference, the above message is a reply to a message where: Yes that is what we thought we were getting when we voted for the new Yacht Club. Actually, the YC was supposed to receive River Rock and that looks different than the stone in the photo. Here is a view of what was proposed for the YC: |
